    How many is too many?

I am trying to gain back all i lost due to an injury and other stupid reasons. I am currently eating about every 3 hours, Eating as much as i can without getting tired. So far from july 4th i have gone from 150 to 168. Im very lean so thats never been an issue, about 11% fat. its working out to about 4000 cal a day. I notice my appetite is getting more and more. at what point is it a waste? is there a way to tell? Im not getting a belly so am i good lol? What is the rule of thumb on how often how much and how much per day. I just started training this week. so that is going to affect it too.

Well you can find out your maintenance calories and try to eat about 500 calories above it. Or just keep doing what you're doing and if you start to gain some fat, cut back

calculate your TDEE by going here
    http://forums.steroid.com/showthread...gy-Expenditure
and go between 500/1000 cals above this.

Please remember, TDEE is a real rough estimate, and could be off by 10% or more. So it needs constant adjustment as you gain, change activity level, AND if you feel your are in caloric surplus AND not getting any gains.

GBrice uses another "rule of thumb" tool, but i'll let him speak to it, as he is the BMOC in this area....

18lbs in about 6 week and hardly any fat gain, I'd keep up what your doing! Phenomenal gains really. Hope I get near them figures when I start bulking!
