    what is the perfect diet?

Hi, i was read through a couple of forums and everyone (including me) seems to think that there diet is spot on, But then most of the time others come along and tell them that what their eating is scrap.
So, i was just wondering if anyone knows what the best diet is? And if the perfect diet varies from person to person, who is anyone to tell somone else that their diet is crap?

    Thanks in advance

sometimes its obviously crap. eg. if you diet includes KFC and mcdonalds ED, then there is no doubt about it , it is crap. and yes diets will vary from person to person depending on goals, health issues, training, etc

It's about hitting proper macros for your goal, not just the kinds of foods eaten. Diets will vary and some can get away with eating some junk sometimes, while others need to be very strict.

What's your bf? You should look up the sticky's to find out what your tdee is ( total daily energy expenditure) then add 500 cals to it for bulking to start. Just make sure your macros are in order. I like a 40, 40, 20% split

    Bingo.

The answer is - the perfect diet is the one that's tailored to the individual and his/her current goals. The perfect diet is tweaked from time to time, as changes in body composition occur.

The short answer - the perfect diet is the one that delivers consistent results.

547 carbs! Holy smokes! For a 145lb guy that is too much! Brotha cut out some of those carbs and include some good fats. Good fats help get calories higher too since their is 9cals/gram vs. 4cals/gram in carbs. Good job on choice of foods for protein and carbs. I don't see any veggies?

^^ lol... purely calorie restriction... unfortunately, the diet also restricts nutrients.

Milk has helped me bulk so well. I have been bulking for 2 years and am hovering around 13% without ever experiencing a cut. It does have quite a bit of sugar, but the protein/cal content helped me

Correct and your eating far too many carbs! Here is a general rule of thumb most bodybuilders use:
1.5-2 grams/protein per lb of LBM daily.
2-3 grams/carbs per lb of lbm daily.
Also remember to include good fats.

All. Calories are what you adjust for the most apart. Although cutting requires lower carb intake or carb cycling.

Anyone tried carb backloading? I've been on for a few weeks now and seem to be putting on mass with minimal fat. I will recheck bf % in a couple more weeks and know for sure.

    What is the perfect diet?

One that helps you reach your goals and that you can maintain in order to keep those desired results, while also being able to and keep your physical health as well as mental health.

In other words; one that WORKS and that you can stay compliant to.

best diet is individual specific. You can get metabolic type and see which foods your body digest the best.
