    sirloin ground beef.

    Any body know the fat content of this cut?

    My butcher says its 93/7 but want to be sure..

    Or what do you guys get?

    It should say percentage on the package.. I use 93/7.

    Doesnt say on package as it doesnt have a package... i think 93/7 is close enough

    i use 96/4 KJ

    only 18g fat in an entire pound!

    Well ill ask again as I wanna be sure of it. Im not a huge beef eater so maybe twice a week just to mix it up...

    Thats about right..I love the stuff, actually used some yesterday for my famous cheat bacon chessburgers!!!Football season.
    take a lb or less mix with a tablespoon of minched garlic, tablespoon of no salt greek seasoning and bbq. add prcooked bacon and a slab of sharp chedar cheese(or perfered) with all the fixings and enjoy......almost as orgasmic as sex!!

    the best i can find is 92% so can i wash away enuff fat with hot water after it's cooked to get it down to 94 or 96% fat free????

    I got some 90/10 today. But I wouldn't go less than this. I am gonna throw it onto George Forman and try reduce fat content as much as possible.

    my iron is low and i thought a little bit of red meat would be good for me, but i can never find the 96/4 at a good price

    Just go with something a little lower and then boil the beef or place on a george foreman. Really helps reduce the fat content
