    Do i count carbs?

Trying to fix my diet (with alot of help from 405) and was wondering if I counted fiber when calculating my macros?

Only if your concerned with getting Net carbs. Not necessary.

Technically, no. However, I do as my carb macro always tends to go over a bit anyway, so it helps me to keep my overall calories in check somewhat.

Pay specific attention to soluble fiber vs. insoluble as the former should be counted.

Thanks, I know you don't count them on a low carb/keto diet. Just didn't know in a more "bodybuilding" type diet.

What I said applies to any style of dieting I implement. I didn't reference keto/low carb.

I understand, I wasn't trying to put words into your mouth. I just remember when I did some low carb runs in the past, you didn't count fiber or sugar alcohols as net carbs. Thanks for the help, very informative!

No problem brother. I know my post 'sounds' argumentative. Wasn't my intention, was simply trying to clarify. Hard to convey tone via keyboard. I tried with the smiley face, but failed lol

No worries, I was just being a little over cautious. It seems like alot of new members want advice, then when it's not exactly what they wanted to hear they act like they know better than the people who have been there and done that. Just didn't want anyone thinking that's me.
