    macro check

Hey guys I'm trying to get my diet more on point. Looking to bulk.

    5'9
    175
    12%

    2918 calories 252 protein/228 carbs/ 121 fat on non training days. Add 600: 50/80/9 for post workout shake 4 days a week.

Am I missing anything other than listing my diet item by item? Do the numbers look alright? I'm new at this...

Please disregard the instant oatmeal, that was only this morning. Normally it's raw oats one cup and half a packet of Splenda.

Oh and the steak will be substituted with tilapia fillet most nights. Again, sorry this is a lil unorganized, I'm somewhat newb in the diet section.

    80/20 ground beef
    cheese
    rib eye

    are u serious??

i love all 3 but if u dont wanna gain bf% i suggest losing all 3..

    at 175lbs 12%bf u have 154lbs LBM ur rough maintenance = (LBM x 15) or 2310cals

id prob start at 2800 but 2900 may be ok. if u are gaining fat faster than ud like u can reduce cals a bit.

    personally i like 40/45/15 pro/carb/fat

    std is 40/40/20

read stickies: 1)how to bulk and 2)dieting 101: cutting

u need to drop fat macro significantly IMO.

also i suggest posting ur diet in a difft format. u will prob get a better response that way. pics are easy but a pain in the butt to look at.

    2800cals
    40/40/20
    280g pro
    280g carbs
    62g fat

    2800cals
    40/45/15
    280g pro
    315g carbs
    46g fat

id be sure to include all meals with times, workout time, total cals and total macros..

Thank you very much. I can stop the cheese, get more lean ground beef, and do the steak only once a week I usually have a hard time gaining so I think the calories will be ok. I'm gonna try to adjust to target the numbers you posted more accurately.

    Thanks!
