    Help with TDEE

Cant seem to get my head round the maths of this please help

    Stats
    Height in cm = 177.8
    Weight in KG = 100
    Aged 29

    First part is this right

    13.7 x 100 + 66 = 1436
    177.8 x 5 = 889
    6.8 x 29 = 197.2

so is this my final sum for the first stage

    1436 + 889 -197.2 = 2127.8

    Second stage

    1.725 x 2127.8 = 3670.445

    so is 3670
the calorie i need to take in

    Thanks for any info

hey lca, yeah the math looks good.
what activities are you doing to multiply your BMR by 1.725? thats prob gona be a bit high if your wanting to run maintenance cals for a while. personally id go lower then you can always increase if needs be and you wouldnt gain any extra BF along the way.

the TDEE has fallen out of sorts with the guys on here of late, LBMx15 is the new formula. if you know your BF% then you can work out your LBM.

but its what ever sounds most appropriate and works best for you.

3600 cals is alot of clean food to eat.
have you a diet set out or are you thinking of doing one?
are you training to lose BF or gain mass or just training for the fun and wanting to keep as you are? cos your tdee is for maintenance of your current phsyique at the activity level you are doing.

try using LBM X 15. this works well for most people. just a suggestion.

trying to convert from imperial measurements hurts my brain

is this what your eating now or planning on eating?
you may wana check the cals and carbs of brown rice and pasta! i have 50g of brown rice (uncooked) at 175 cals and 37g carbs. its important you get these bang on! the next couple of days you will be checking the nutrition table of foods constantly. :-)

if youre 'bulky' and wana see your abbs you wana be eating about 2200 ish cals, for a starting point. if you feel its too little you can always up them slightly.

your stats are similar to mine when i pleeded on here for help and started cuting, >>405<< helped me loads. ill bump up my post and you can see the food and how it was set out.

try and find out for bodyfat (BF)%. its what you need to go off really, rather than scales.
