My new PWO Meal is Yummy!

I finally decided to try the Kashi cereal. I got the shredded wheat with cinnamon. MMMMM. Works perfect for my pwo carb! How I have missed eating cereal.

I love cereal. WAY too much. It's the reason I need to stay away from it... I can't control myself and will easily polish off a box in a single sitting. The only one I allow myself now is the Kashi GoLean Original. A full cup (because who the fck eats 3/4 of a cup of cereal anyway??) is 13g protein, 1g fat, 30g carbs, 10 of which are fiber (9 insoluble)... pretty damn decent profile for a cereal.

The toasted berry crumble is ridiculous. I could easily put down a box a day. I can't buy it anymore.

^^ my favorite by far. For the reasons stated, I haven't bought it in over a year. Probably the least nutritional value of all of the Kashi cereals. I also love the Honey Almond Flax, but can't control myself with that one either.

    My PWO shake consists of:
    2 scoops banana protein,
    few ice cubes,
    1 scoop instant oats,
1 table spoon natural peanut butter

In a blender, fantastic!! I can't remember the exact macro, it's around 58g protein, 20g carbs.

Krave - that box is a single serving. It's such an incredible cereal. I have to avoid buying when I go shopping, otherwise I WILL eat the whole box as soon as I'm home.

Damn bro, control yourself! I know the stuff is so good. I use a tiny bowl and it is almost 2 servings. A serving of cereal is barely enough to feed my 1 yr old son!

43 carbs per serving. I eat about 3oz (1 and 1/2 servings) so I get close to 80 carbs if you include the milk.. I am sure they would be great with yogurt and honey too!

Guys I feel you on the whole eating a box of cereal thing. I'm a recovering food addict so there is a lot of stuff I can't eat with out going crazy.

Last year I was going to have a bowl of coco puffs as a cheat meal and I ate the whole box. I felt so bad. Do you know how long it takes to run off a box of coco puffs? Never bought a sugary cereal again.
