How do you like your chicken?

    Straight? On the rocks?

I still like this method of the chicken delivery best. I am starting to drink these at least 2x per day. Seriously tastes better than powder shakes and I am pretty damn sure it is better for you.

I seen that thread and said fvck it. Tried it and it's better than powder.

Yeah, stopped the chicken nuggets. . . . I know they are a great source of protein and all

I like grilled and all that all other shit too. But, I can't eat a pound a day and have to chew that shit.

Fish I can, but I can't afford it any more.

My typical main sources of protein are fish once a day and 2 of these 2x a day = 160g's of protein. Then the rest is mainly from egg whites. But, a still typically use powder once a day still.

If it works for ya, then have at it.

What about cheap steaks? I love em. They are high in protein but a little tougher. Just cook slow. I buy em at about 7 dollars and they're 2 good meals for protein.

Now that i think about it, a steak shake sounds pretty good. haha...

I have tried warm chicken shakes in the past and actually stuck with them for awhile, not bad really. I prefer my chicken grilled and paired one of three ways:

    1. With light miracle whip as chicken salad.
    2. On top of some whole wheat noodles with tomato sauce.
    3. Mixed with brown rice, corn and black beans in a wheat tortilla for a mexican burrito.

The BlendTec is a beast. I use cold chicken straight out of the fridge with filtered water. By the time it's smooth it's warm from the blending speed.

I still do red meat, but I hate the toughness of sirloin. So I try to stick to fajita meat or new york strips if they are on sale.

I was gonna ask... what is this - but just saw... chicken and water? How is the chicken cooked prior to blending? Are you serious when you say it tastes better than a powdered shake? Chicken and WATER??? I wanna vomit thinking of it, but I can't knock it until I try it. Sounds horrible. Ever think of blending with something flavored? I mean... this must taste like watered down... chicken.

Here in Middlesbrough England we have a speciality called chicken permesan.

    1. Batter a chicken breast till its flat and even
    2. Break an egg in to a bowl and whisk
    3. Soak the chicken in the egg then cover the chicken with breadcrumbs
    4. Shallow fry the chicken and whils doing that make some be channel sauce ( melt spoon of butter in pan add flour then slowly add half pint of milk whilst stirring, I also add Philadelphia cheese. The sauce wants to be thick but not too thick,)
    5. When the chicken is fried pour the sauce on top the sprinkle cheddar cheese on top the grill.

    AWESOME!!!!!

The Gf throws it in a light marinade of vinegar and Mrs. Dash.

I used to eat it with Hummus, but since I am on this extreme low/no carb diet the Hummus had to go.

    It tastes good to me.

I'm so sick of powdered shakes it's not even funny. I still have about 50 pounds of powder on hand.

You think that's nasty - - - Sheeeet - - - Just started my PWO of chicken and egg whites. I don't know, but it works for me so fvck it.

Sounds delicious of course, but I can't see how this fits our lifestyle in any way, shape, or form.

Took another twist on it yesterday. I need more solid healthy fats, been eating walnuts a bit. So, why not mix the 2? Not bad. . . . I have no idea how I think these are decent.

there is a trick to grilling a chicken on the Q. Needs to be completely cooked. Yet not overcooked so that it doesn't dry out.

I also like to cook up my world famous chicken/celery/basil stew. No carbs, but damn is it good!!!

The chicken I use in this is actually really good on it's own.

I am just damn tired of chewing. Fish is so much better for lean protein, I just can't afford it

I was listening to Cutler a while back. Someone asked him about his diet and caught him off guard. This doesn't happen often and all the Pro's answers are pro too. "I love Syntha 6 and eggs" - - - Blah blah. . . Can't expect more since that's who pays their bills. He said he mainly lives off fish, pounds of fish at a time.

When you measure the protein content against any other food, fish wins by quite far(one small serving of cod contains 25g's of protein, zero carbs and only 100 cals - running at that as your main protein source you can pull down 250g's of protein @ only 1k cals - 2nd up is chicken(poultry) then meats(pork or red meat, or whatever else).

Fish would be my choice if $ had no part of my nutritional equation. Since that is not the case, chicken it is - Beat 1.80 a pound < Just can't happen.
