    Diet critique

    Have been told to post what i ate yesterday too see if my diet has any room for improvements

    Currently clean bulking with a 250 caloric surplus total 2750, dont want to dirty bulk as i just get big and fat from it.

    Stats : 5 '10 , 156lbs, 15%, age : 21



    9am - homemade weight gainer, whole milk, powdered oats, peanut butter tbsp, protein scoop. + multivitamin + fish oil - 856 cals

    12pm - fuel cereal - 651 cals

    3pm - subway chicken sandwhich 6" - 443 cals

    6pm - chicken drum sticks & baby new potatoes n veg - 432 cals

    9pm- post workout - white bread with jam & protein shake

    Calories - 2802
    Protein - 144
    Carbs - 322
    Sugars - 105
    Fat - 88
    Saturated - 26
    Sodium - 2130mg >.<
    Fiber - 27
    Cholestrol - 239

    Sometimes i wake at 12 so my last meal is around 10pm- 11pm after my PWO, and it normally is a meal with carbs and protein.

    Be patient man...most everyone here have lives and jobs. There are far less of these guys than there are in the Q&A so yess responses may not be in seconds or minutes but it's worth the wait!

    Your macro's don't add up, they amount to about 2650 or so.

    Your fats are too high at 30% of total cals. Your protein is too low. Your cals are too high. Your 15% will climb to 18% by the end of the year if you aren't careful.

    Your maintenance is likely about 200cals. Why don't you aim for 2690 cals with a 40/49/20 split and see how you go?!

    ^^^ do what he says. I am never in a bulking scenario myself, but read some of the other members and you will see how much they are eating, but they got 50 - 70 lbs on you (as you will in time

    BTW, I CHEW more protein than your one sample day posting. Seems you like to drink yours in the form of shakes???? Also, have you had an opportunity to read any of the stickies. Lots of great info there. Happy gaining!
