The Skinny Guy's Pitfall
I see a lot of guys on the boards that are 6'7" and 140lbs that insist that they "know how to eat" and that they need dbol to grow.
But they're trying to grow on "natty" peanut butter and protein shakes! And even after a whole bunch of vets tell them they don't know how to eat they just can't let it go. They can't come to grips with the fact that they aren't eating.
The proof is in the pudding. If you were eating more, you'd be growing.
So why don't they?

sometimes it's hard to tell someone something if they think they already have the answer

the only people who dont get their goals are those who dont take the time to write it down and manage it. for years i was stuck in the " why dont i keep my gains" or why am I only this weight on juice"
Finally came to terms to reliaze what i was eating and how much and when.. never in my dreams would I have thought im 1500 cals short of where i was suppose to be. and the wrong type of cals.
Im still not perfect and still dialing things in.
But I understand now the importance and not just saying " i eat a ton" yeah whoppie do...people dont realize how much a ton of food is with the correct type of calories...Last edited by largerthannormal; 10-23-2012 at 11:57 AM.

Well, I'm a natural fat body, so I never had this particular problem, but it sounds like the opposite of the one a lot of the fat acceptance folks insist is true. You know, the ones who "tried everything right" and it still did not work out for. Never do they want to accept they need to eat far less calories, and be in a caloric deficit. The results, or lack there of, show how they ignore this simple fact.
If you are already lean, as in 8% bodyfat, and you are thin, and need to gain muscle, then you need a caloric surplus.
The problem both parties seem to have is what I call "physics fail". Where they are not aware of the simple law of conservation of matter and energy.
You cannot create matter or energy out of nothing, nor can they become nothing.
