    Hey guys this good diet for a newbi???

    Hey guys need your help plzzzzz . any advice would be awesome. My diet so far

    7am- 50g protein shake

    10am- 4-6 egg whites 2 yolks and half can of bake beans

    12pm- 175g porthouse steak cup of green beans

    3pm 175g yogurt with banana, kiwi fruit

    5pm protein shake 50g

    8pm 200g lean mince half cup of rice

    off to training around 9.30

    this is where i am stuck should i have a protein shake or i was going to have some fish cause it is light after training. and is this healthy how i cook my fish... dip it in milk and then add breed crumbs. can't eat plain boring fish lol

    If you're going to have a shake at anytime during the day, immediately after your workout is the best time. Fish is high in omega fats, which would slow down the absorption of the protein in it, which isn't good right after a workout. Consider fish for the last meal of your day, before bed.

    Looks good but I would defiantly have a protein shake after you work out. That's when your muscles are starving for protein to build them

    first what r ur stats? age weight height bf%??

    what r ur goals? bulk, cut??

    what r the cals and macros of this diet?

    awesome guys thank you for your help. 405 i am 30 weight just under 107kg, 5"9 don't know body fat,cals etc just go on way i eat. got a gut lol but upper body looking not to bad. my goal is to cut weight but try and bulk a lil at same time. thats properly why i don't have much carbs in diet. open for suggestions mate regarding diet or maybe focusing on cutting first then bulking if u think so

    i suggest getting ur bf% chekd. google "BOD POD" for ur area and make an appointment.

    in the mean time u can post a pic and we can ballpark u to get u started.

    depending how long its been since u went to the gym will determine if u can lose fat and make some gains at the same time. personally i would focus on one or the other primarily. if u think u need to lose fat chances are u need to focus on that first and foremost. cutting will teach u a lot about diet as a whole IMO anyways..
