Turkey breast is a great low fat high protein source, but I can't seem to find anything that's not loaded with sodium.
I'm talking buying a breast and cooking it, no lunch meats etc.

i found a turkey breast in the meat section that was cooked at a warehouse club like sams/costco. i never worry about sodium, since i typically do so much cardio and don't have high bp. if i did have bp issues, i would buy a turkey and roast it. i luv turkey!!!
I buy 99% lean ground turkey breast and make chili with it.
Just add diced tomatoes, beans, and low sodium chilli mix. I usually use 2 lbs turkey breast and 2 lbs 93% lean ground beef.
You can freeze some and refrigerate the rest. Lasts at least a week in refrigerator. Can eat with brown rice or alone for low carb meal.
I buy ground lean as well. Goes good in my meatloaf. I actually prefer it over beef. My local walmart has turkey patties and breast, but only tried it a cpl times. I been sticking to the ground turkey.

I blow up on the amount of sodium in a butterball or jenniO turkey breast. You get your 2500 mg for the day in one meal. Turkey's not like that naturally I just have to find out where to find it. Buying and cooking an entire turkey is kind of expensive and time consuming.
I'll have to look for 99% lean ground turkey. The stuff at Costco is the same fat content as 95/5 beef, and I like beef better most of the time.
We make turkey meatloaf also. Damn good!
I'm cutting so the simplest, cleanest meals are top priority. That's why I'm after some turkey breast. Much better in the afternoon on the go than fish!
