So when a normal person is bulking they are told to eat high calories but to still avoid fast carbs as to not spike their insulin, which will lead to fat gains.
Does this even apply to someone with type 1 diabetes? When I eat a meal with say 100 grams of carbs, I inject a given amount of insulin. say 15iu's.
I guess what I am asking is, does the type of carbs even matter in said meal for me? I understand that if they are faster acting carbs I should inject a longer time before eating, say if its fast 15 minutes. But it is in the end the same amount of insulin, no matter what type of carb.
Is my question clear enough?
