    run DEXTROSE and risk DIABETES?

I recently purchased Dextrose, planning to take it post-workout so my torn muscles can benefit from the blood sugar spike (increased insulin release). However this morning I received a concerned text from my mother -- warning me that this powder I bought could lead to diabetes. I figured it was worth looking into. Thoughts?

How old are you? Did tell your mum to buy it for you?

Dextrose is likely to give you diabetes as much as a can of non-diet coke or a twinkie would. You figure out the rest
