Cold potatoes opposed to baked potato?
....just wondering if eating cold potatoes would be any different than eating a baked potato......it's just that sometimes when I'm at work there is no time to warm things up......better just to eat it cold.....I just want to know nutritionally is it the same......I can't see why not but just asking what others think.......thanks

I don't don't think it will make much of a difference. When you say cold do you mean cooked and then cold or do you mean raw??

I think that might lower the GI value of it because cooking sometimes releases almyze (sp) from the foods and makes your stomach digest it quicker, I am not sure if potatos fall into this catagory. I think it would be the same, except for taste, YUCK.

Gotta love this. At least I'm not the only one who feels miserable when dieting down.
