    Help for my sister please help me....

    My Sister is 5'8" tall about 160-165 and her back arms are pretty big with flab what can she use to help I want to help her out with a more strict diet plan but shes already consuming 1800 calories per day but she consumes alcoholic beverages friday and saturday night she has tried all the bullshit pills they have I was going to encourage her to try HCG but im not sure about the reliability of that either if you can please provide me with any information I would greatly appreciate it her BFI% is about 22%

    do not give her HCG lol...

    post up her diet for critique

    and how much exercise does she do? and what type? weights? or just cardio?

    Hi~ if you can get your sister to sign up, then great. Either way post up what she is eating as mentioned above. And the HCG shots work with eating 500 calories per day and who in the heck wouldn't lose on that? If she is after lifestyle, then this is the place to come. And it has to be her idea more than anything else. She has to want to do this more than you do. This is imperative to understand. Otherwise you might be barking up the wrong tree therefore the best thing you can do is live by example.

    and by the way 22% BF on a female is not as high as it is on a male and if she is still in her reproductive years going low as in below 18% BF can backfire. I will try to find a post about this.

    Supplements are not the way to go from this point. My understanding of the HCG diet is that it goes along with a starvation-like diet, and helps tolerate it better with hopefully preserving muscle. If she wants to truly better herself, she needs a healthier perspective on her situation. As well she needs to realize that she is not giving up her food/enjoyments, and is gaining a better life for herself in the long run. It's a lifestyle change, and there is no quick fix to getting in shape. That greatest battle everyone has is in their own minds. If you know all her stats, and caloric requirements, sit down with her, go over a list of foods that will help support better eating habbits, and go from there. keep reassuring her on her progress.
