Getting in all them calories!
Well its hard when eating pretty clean to bust in all them calories and im sure the vet members might be able to shed some light here but when you guys were bulking how did you fit in all those calories im currently finding it a little difficult day by day to get all those cals in me, a friend of mine owns a butchery to i get Kg's of chicken breasts dirt cheap so a lot of my meals are chicken breast based and i just get so full but after looking at the nutritional values per say 100g im bearly polishing my maintenance. is there some high calorie foods you recommend? is there anything that can increase appetite?
thanks ahead!Last edited by Bevsta123; 12-04-2012 at 03:52 AM.

fat has 9 calories per gram, protein and carbs have 4 calories per gram... eat more fat like avocados, nuts, peanut butter, etc..

and if you have trouble eating big meals, try smaller more frequent meals..

Best appetite increaser is exercise, but slightly counter productive while bulking.
How many cals are you actually eating and what macros split is it?
Steak is good for bulking, its high in cals, fat, protein. Loaded with vit B's. Eggs are good, and the yolk is high fat but loaded with essential stuff.
Look for calorie condense carbs. Rice, pasta etc. Leave out bread.

Thanks for the responses guys will be looking into a few of them!
cheers for that i will try make your shake some time this week;
as for the macros im leaning to a 40/30/30 type split as staying lean is pretty easy for me so i wouldnt mind putting on a bit of fat here and there
