    carb cycling help?

hey guys trying to do my first "carb cycling" cycle. I read up on it and lots of conflicting, confusing info.
I have been on the good ole' healthy diet and cutting all natty for about 5 months now, but wanted to step it up.

Can someone please simplify how it works. I will be forever grateful

    Age: 28
    ht: 5'9
Weight: Never checked (Distraction i feel)
Bf: around 13%- 14% tops prolly 13% (post 5 months training combined with a good diet)

starting waist: 34", currently: 31.5"-32"(depending on fullness), Goal to be around 30.5" (according to bodybuilding calcs that should land me at 9.8% bf), My goal more or less is a modest 10% (i atleast want that 'little' annoying fat tire goone for good)

As for diet, i maintained a very healthy diet all along, High Protein, Med Low Carbs and good fats (on the go 24/7)
Because im an athlete. Practice is Lots of sprinting and quick burst training for 4 hours per day + moderate weights and being an acto, meso type i lost inches around the waist and muscles have stayed pretty much the same....

until now the arms are starting to loose.

Practice is dumbing down to the last week and i have already started weight training 3 times per week combined with 30 mins jogging, cardio. Im trying to loose the last 2 inches around my waist. Progress has been stalling the last couple of weeks.

So carb cycling is looking awesome: not to sound like a dork but im excited to finally use my circumstances to get ripped Finally Im sooo close...Seeing my upper abs starting to show a bit. they look scary, cool at the same time hehe

ok here is a general eating schedule nowdays:

Note: I stay very well hydrated all throughout the day
Snack on almonds frequently but not everyday.

    Wake up: 5-7 am
7:40 am - Morning coffee (2 tsp half, half) + stevia
8:30 am - Breakfast: bowl of oatmeal (Quakers all 100% natural of course) with 3 to 4 eggs plus <occasional cup of organic green tea>

    On my way to practice

11:15 am (on the bus)- Snack Greek yoghurt + green apple or Nature valley granola bar

    12:44 pm- Get changed

    Practice: 1-5 pm

5:30 pm snack 6" subway turkey roast with cheese and veggies

7:30 pm Dinner Steak + salad

    8:30 pm Greek yoghurt snack

    9:30 pm sleep bed time

sat/sun - i allow myself to indulge in takeout with the gf

11:15 am (on the bus)- Snack Greek yoghurt + green apple or Nature valley granola bar mostly carbs and mostly sugar

    12:44 pm- Get changed

    Practice: 1-5 pm

5:30 pm snack 6" subway turkey roast with cheese and veggies 6 hrs with no food (is ok) poor carb choice, cheese is not the best fat choice, cold cuts are not the best for protein and prob dont offer a whole lot, i would NOT consider this a good meal for cutting at all! i am going to assume the "veggies" is the stuff on top of the sub..?

7:30 pm Dinner Steak + salad steak can be good and bad depending on the cut and how often u eat it.

8:30 pm Greek yoghurt snack would prefer meat here but to each his own, i dont eat yogurt cuz the only kind i like is fruit on the bottom!

    9:30 pm sleep bed time

2 consecutive days every weekend of cheating?

    ^^ kinda what i thought

not horrible for a typical person but u stated above ur diet was "high protein, medium low carbs, good fat".. personally i would like to see the total cals and macros for this diet. i would venture to guess protein is not as high as it could be and ur carbs are primarily coming from inferior sources IMO. u do probably burn most (if not all) those carbs off if ur practicing (im not sure what) 4 hrs per day. u may not be eating enuff carbs. its hard to really comment any further cuz i need to see total cals and macros.

part of the problem is u probably dont know how many ur getting.

i believe there is PLENTY of room in this diet for changes to bring about some more results before switching to a carb cycle.

also when r u lifting? im thinking ur practices are ending, and if so how much cardio u plan on doing and when do u plan on doing it??

Currently: whole body weight training (2 times a week) + just started jogging 30 mins mon-fri

    Offseason is coming up:

    so

MWF: whole body weight lifting workouts (olympic lifting tempo) plus 30 mins of jogging in the AM and DIET would be carb cycling with 200 gm of protien/ day
