    P28 High Protein Bread

Came across this bread, started doing some research on it and bought a pack of 2 breads/1 bagel/2 flats.

Here are the nutrition facts for each:

    Bagel:
    260 calories
    25g carbs
    7g fat
    28g protein
    4g fiber

    Flats:
    260 calories
    27g carbs
    7g fat
    28g protein
    6g fiber

    Bread (one slice):
    130 calories
    12g carbs
    4g fat
    14g protein
    2g fiber

Figured if you haven't seen this stuff you should check it out. I tried the flats and bagel so far and I really like them. Helps getting in that extra protein.

I tried the bread yesterday, I like that as well too. I wouldn't supplement the breads from whole proteins like chicken/fish/turkey/red meat but it is a good way of getting that extra protein in a few meals especially for me since I can't eat egg whites and already have 4 whole eggs every morning. If you do the math, that's only 24g protein, and if you're trying to take in 300+/day 24g just won't cut it. Add a bagel and you're up to 52g protein and have your carb source.
