    2 simple questions re diet.

I suspect this is buried on some post in here but haven't found it yet.

Same diet on workout and non-workout days?

I understand natural sources of protein are preferred over protein shakes, but protein shakes are better than no protein if I have trouble getting enough natural into diet. (just trying to transition from a very weak diet).

Your preference. Personally, I find it boring. What's the primary goal? Muscle gain? Fat loss?

A good rule of thumb (but not gospel) is to try and get the bulk of your protein from 'real' food, and make up the difference with protein supplements. However, I go a bit further - use protein powder as needed to fit your lifestyle, schedule, etc. But DON'T use it as an excuse not to eat.

What I meant is same basic intake of protein, cabs and fat and to make the transition easier to start with anyway, same number of meals. Primary goal is muscle for now.

Got it on the shake, thanks.
