    IF Training -Any Need?

Hey, Have read a few logs/threads on here about I'Fasting.

Just wondering if there is any need to be cycing carbs high/low for rest/training days.

So far it looks like im going to be on a 19/5 fast, 1 meal pre workout @ 40%kcal and 1 meal post workout @ 60%kcal.

Training 5-6days weekly, usually Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & sometimes Sundays.

    TY in advance..

What time do you workout and what time is your feeding window?

You should really be more concerned with finding more pics of hot chicks with tattoo's

wh1spa im doing exactly what ur talking about: i would call my fasting ADF though not IF. i also cycle carbs. currently i reduced them to 200g on training days and eat NO starch on non-training days plus fast 11hrs after waking (which usually works out to 21-24hrs from my last meal the previous day).

im having awesome results, just broke below 10%bf on the BOD POD and am maintaining strength. have been doing this diet for 7 weeks now. started at 13.1%bf currently sitting at 9.9%bf (both done on BOD POD).

my lifting sched (and resulting fasting sched) is EOD.

    Workout times Monday - Thurs - Friday - 19:30
Tuesday / Wednesday, could be anytime between 06:00 am - 19:30

Im pretty sure im going to fast from 22:00 - 17:00 the next day.

Two meals, split 40% / 60% so the first meal will be 2.5 hours Pre Work Out, and the second meal 30-45 minutes Post Work Out

Non workout days will just reduce carbs by 80% for both meals

Cheat day a Sunday, still keeping the same Fasting period.

Training is Crossfit, knock it all you like, it works incredibly well for me.

Note *** updating HCWT thread now.

ADF (alternate day fasting) its what i do on non-workout days.. fast 11hrs after waking. sleep does not count. considering i usually eat my last meal on training days by 2000 and i usually break my fast between 1700-1900 i avg about 21hrs fasted. i also do 90mins cardio on these days split into one 60min session and one 30min interval session

This is exactly how I diet, pretty much. I am not one to eat many small malls though out the day. 1-2 big meals and I'm good, IMO. I like going to bed feeling full

I did some IF for a couple mos. I used a ebook called Carb Backloading (I think thats the title) I was trying to bulk. Basically I woke at 6am and didnt eat till 1pm (post wo) no starches till 5pm. Then it was basically a free for all ice cream, cake, white rice or whatever as long as there was meat with the meal. No wheat tho.Usually still had 5 meals last one at 9pm. Still tried to meet cal intake. I could not gain this way tho. Did lose bf but got too light so went back to conventional methods for bulking. I will use this for my next cut tho. Good luck
