    Carb sources

    I'm getting tired of brown rice. What other carb sources do you eat say for show prep?

    i beg to differ. And that broscience theory of white being a simple and brown being a complex carb was busted a long time ago.

    In regards to body composition white and brown. No difference.

    Brown rice has a lot more b, vitamins magnesium, antioxidants, selenium, healthy fats oils to reduce ldl cholesterol, and most important a great amount of fiber which is very important in digestion and overall health.
    White rice is a crap carb imo

    sweet potato/yam
    white/red/yellow potato (again, doesn't matter IMO)
    beans, lentils, legumes
    grits
    cous cous
    quinoa

    Thanks gents. I'm sooooo over all rice (unless it's in sushi) Looks like I have a few other sources that I need to figure out how to make.

    I love oats. I put some frozen fruit it them and then they melt into the oats. I have it everyday.
