    acid reflux and diet

    I have seen and heard of articles that talk about alkaline water and that its sppose to healthy for your, since i have acid relflux(Bad Heartburn) will this hurt my diet or will the foods i eat will they become less effective because of the acidity level in my stomach??

    Normal water is just fine... no need for "alkaline water" If you suffer from acid reflux.... try drinking carbonated water such as.... San Pellegrino or perrier. It helps me big time with my acid reflux... plain old soda water would probably be the same. All other carbonated beverages like diet pop or energy drinks ignite my acid reflux but not carbonated water.... its does the opposite.
