    macro nutrient timing

ok just to clarify.....hypothetically speaking, say you have an allowance of 2000 cals per day macro split of 250g pro, 125g carb and 30g fat.........could you eat this at anytime, could you have all your carbs at night a few hours before bed?...........does the timing affect fatloss?

having your carbs early morning vs evening......or does it not make a difference?

note....lets say this is on none training days.

    cheers

If thats the macros you need to achieve your goal, than equally split them between 5-6 meals.

Equally split your macros between 5-6 meals.

Or get your carbs in the morning and after workout.

Cheers mate........forget about training for my question................ i havent made myself clear

for fat loss goals, will spliting your macros (more importantly carbs) during the day vs eating all them at night make any difference to fat loss? keeping in mind you stay withing all your macro nutrients and calories.

    cheers.

In theory, the answer is no.

You may struggle though workouts if you have no carbs and you'll burn less cals and maybe not push hard enough to try and gain LBM. But you may also find its a better way for your body to train.

There's a number if 'discussions' hidden in threads on here as to whether or not nutrient timing is important. For me, carbs 2 hours before I lift works better. On none training days it really doesn't make any difference when I eat them.

Hit your cals and hit your macro's.
    NO SOURCES GIVEN

IMO and from my experience the timing of the carb macro as it pertains to fat loss has probably been the 2nd most important factor next to total cals and total carbs. this is speaking for training days specifically, but IMO nutrient timing also carries over into non-training days as well.

currently i only eat carbs pre workout on training days and no carbs on non-training days. plus i fast 11hrs (after waking on non training days which is EOD)

heres 4 pics, two at the beginning of implementing this protocol and the other 8 weeks later.. id also like to note the beginning pics were about 6 weeks into a standard carb cycle where CPWO (carbless post workout - nutrient timing at its best IMO) had not been implemented.

    u tell me ..

non training = 11 hr fast after waking then eat according to appetite no carbs (except veggies raw)

typically on fasting days i eat around 1900 (stop eating 2000 the nite before so @23hrs actual fasted) and my meal consists of 1lb beef and a big spinach salad with tomato, onion, bell pepper, cucumber, walnuts, turkey pepperoni, balsamic vinegar, 2 whole hard boiled eggs.. and thats all i eat.. (usually)
