    The Dreaded Dirty Bulk!

    So I am about to annoy some members but that's nothing new. I have some goals and I have been advised against what I have begun but it's my choice and you- the reader may benefit from my experience. I am about to attempt THE DIRTY BULK! I've worked my eating habits to the point of every few hours, but my food choice is far from clean. At this point I am re-learning how to eat... Not eat clean, but to get the food in and pack on some pounds. Stretch the stomach and GAIN MASS!

    Now don't get your panties in a twist just yet! I do plan to attempt a cut after I reach my goal of 25lbs. So I plan to progressively enhance my diet over time to lower sugars, fats and eventually carbs- and as LBM grows, I will adjust the protein. I will switch from Full milk to 2% and then later again, switch to Skim--- and maybe cut out milk completely. These are the types of changes I will make in the future, but for now... Its gonna be DIRTY! I have chosen to log my experience so that I can monitor my changes as well as give a place for others interested in this style of bulking. If this is really as unhealthy as some make it out to be, then my experience will not be a waste, but rather an educational tool for others - including those who can't wait to say "I told you so!"

    Here's my proposed diet, listed as on a training day. Non-training days will have no PWO shake.

    Meal 1- bacon egg and cheese English muffin, hashbrown patty and 500mL full milk

    855cal 44g pro 74g carb 42g fat 23g sugar

    Meal 2- 500mL oj, 1 can white albacore, 1/4 Cuecombre, raspberry vinaigrette, 12 ritz crackers

    579 cal 38g pro 82g carb 10g fat 49g sugar

    Meal 3 - large split top bun, 30g mozzarella, mayo, turkey, soprasata, lettuce & water

    614 cal 30g pro 34g carb 38g fat 0g sugar

    Meal 4 - peanut butter & jam sandwich, 500mL full milk (pre-workout drive home from work)

    754 cal 30g pro 77g carb 37g fat 35g sugar

    Meal 5 - PWO shake - 375mL full milk, whey, rolled oats & dextrose.

    713 cal 54g pro 82g carb 18g fat 48g sugar

    Meal 6 - chicken breast, 1 cup rice, cauliflower, 500mL oj

    601 cal 44g pro 100g carb 3g fat 46g sugar

    Meal 7 - snack- oatmeal crisp almond cereal, 500mL full milk

    800 cal 30g pro 118g carb 24g fat 54g sugar

    Totals: 4916 cal 270g pro 567g carb 172g fat 255g sugar

    My stats are:

    Male 5'7" (168cm) 26 years old 160lbs (73kg) 15%bf
    Training 1.5 years hard

    Theoretically, my tdee is only 3500cals for bulking- but I often eat like listed above and haven't gotten fat yet.

    This is my meal plan for tomorrow. I will obviously be switching proteins and carb sources but will measure accordingly. Most of it is prepared already, minus dinner and cereal and shake. Might skip the dextrose... Not really necessary...

    My goal is 185lbs and then I'll cut. I may or may not be running a cycle of test e 500-700mg 12 weeks (plus AI and hcg and pct- but this is the nutrition section) w/ tbol 60mg daily 8 weeks. If I do this, I will immediately cut the fat down drastically.

    Ha Ha - - - That is funny shit man for sure.

    I am running my bulk "dirty". Same shit, sandwiches and all.

    I still have a solid diet, but I add in filler garbage. My protein and cals are in check, just my fat g's are high. I am watching this very closely this time. My fat gain can get out of hand very fast. My current body weight gain seriously breaks into 3 equal parts of LBM, water and fat.

    The water drops fast, it is brought on by shity salty foods.

    The fat is from high fat gram content foods.


    The protein is still in solid, so the LBM is still growing.




    I think an extremely lean clean bulk is pure money. But, your diet is even worse than a cut. You must eat 3k+ cals per day of truly clean foods. The filler makes it easy. I slam a 1k cal breakfast and 1/3rd of my day is filled.


    Crude, not the best possible method but it works.

    Basically the same here, stuck in camps for work i don't really have a choice. So far so good tho!

    I think the only people who can run a lean bulk is someone who is not working and can dedicate most of their time to the diet and has an abundance of money just lying around. If I didn't work, I wouldn't have the money to eat and because I work, it's hard to eat what I would need to be lean bulking. Vicious cycle man lol

    I find it hard to gain muscle or fat. Gaining weight for me is pretty hard in general so we will see where this takes me

    It's the $ for me. Of course I can run a clean bulk on high end sea food and quality meats. Sure, yeah. . . . Check the price of food. I can barely keep up with what I eat now. - over a pound of chicken per day and other crap.

    You'll be fine, watch yourself closely for quick water and fat gain.

    Yea I'm not worried. Ill be surprised if I gain any fat at all. And water weight is easy to manage

    For a dirty bulk you seem fairly clean.... I get great gains in muscle and don't really gain a bunch of body fat when dirty bulking but I go for far more calories and I still try to keep protein over 500g. The key is when you decide to cut back down.... Make sure to do it very slowly or your newly gained muscle won't last. Just my experience

    Dirty is such a bad word !!! Good luck bro, I think a lot more of people train/run gear like yourself, they are just to afraid to admit it. They want To be The Internet tuff guys and say your in the wrong while they are eating a bowl of ice cream. lol. Good luck keep us posted !!!

    In my mind a forum about steroids and getting fit is kind of counter productive don't you think? Lol makes me wonder how many arm chair warriors are just here trolling to feel liked.

    And yes 500g protein is insane haha I have a hard time packing that in my gut in two days lmao

    Me, i prefer the feeling of being hated I bet 90% or more on here don't follow their own advice. Nothing gets me angry like being talked down to over the internet and it happens often here. Im pretty confident most members don't have 1/3 the courage they display on here...but hey, it's all in good fun or I wouldn't be here

    I just did the same thing, gained a ton of mass over 8 weeks ..... But now hating life trying to get all the fat off! Strong as a bull though...lmao! Good luck ! I will be watching !

    I find it hard to gain muscle or fat. Gaining weight for me is pretty hard in general so we will see where this takes me

    Anytime I'm trying to bulk i try and hit either 3lbs of meat 18eggs and 2 shakes or 4lbs or meat and 2 shakes. My last bulk was my best and honestly I was just going through the worst depression of my life which made me do two things. One eat an ungodly amount of calories and two sleep an outrageous amount. Not to mention absolutely no activity. But holly shit did I blow up. I have to admit I wasn't exactly as pretty as I am now but I was about 40+lbs heavier and this was just a couple months ago.
