    Hey ----->405<-----

    Just wanted to say thanks for all the help I've been going by what u set up for me . So far so good to early to see any difference although I'm feeling better any way! Had a little trouble putting my meal plan together because of my job and other factors.

    I've been coming up short on my calories by about 350 and over on protein almost spot on with carbs and fat .....is the fact that im under on calories going to be help or hurt me with retaining my muscle? Thanks again for all the help 405 !

    if ur going over ur protein macro and almost spot on with ur carbs and fat i dont see how u could be coming short on calories? u may wanna chek ur math. cals should reflect values based on total macros. if theres a major discrepancy, something is amiss, and that something is likely ur math..

    I've just been going off of what the packages say for my chicken and on other proteins. Should i just figure it as prot & carbs x 4 instead of the figure s suggested by packaging?

    I would do it by weighing your food and comparing to any sites that list specific macros for foods like chicken, beans, oats, etc etc etc. You can also use the sticky here of foods with their macros and check that out.

    chicken is roughly 100g protein per lb

    so is ground beef.. BUT with beef a lot depends on the fat %.. i use 96% fat free.

    get a cal counting app .. i use caloriecountdotcom
