In desperate need of help with everything...

First off let me tell you a little about myself. I am a single father of three. I am 31 years ol 6" tall and 275 lbs and my bmi is 35%. I was in a rehabiltation center for 6 months in order to get off of numerous narcotics ( dilaudid, methadone, and valuim ) that I was prescribe for my back from my Dr. I was prescibed these for almost 8 years so it was very difficult for me to get off of these because of withdraw and severe back pain so I thought. After about two months in rehab I was finally able to start doing some low impact workouts and by the third month I was working out 5 days a week and really was feeling no or bare minimum pain from my back. I was losing weight and working out pretty hard by 4 month. By the end of the 6 months I had lost a total 22 lbs and had actually gained alot of muscle mass considering the type of equipment I had to work with. I definitely felt so much healthier. I got out of rehab June of 2012 and continued working out and was eating healthier than I was in rehab considering all that was served there was fried starchy foods and hardly any lean protein. So after about 1 month of being out of rehab I am working out at a local gym every day just about and then I break my ankle. I can proudly say that I didnt except any narcotics from the the doctors for the pain. After a few months I am able to work out again but I have lost all results and put my weight back on and now I cant get motivated again. I know there is a ton of very experienced people on her and I have read a ton of post. I just need some guidance and was wondering if anyone could help me with a meal plan and a workout plan. I would greatly apprecaite it. Thanks in advance Jesse

first off congrats on goin to rehab and getting clean, that is huge.. but there is a thing called muscle memory and you will rebuild your muscle fast dont worry, the only way i can workout and stay motivated is if i give it my 110%, which means in the kitchen and in the gym , do you have any pictures of when you were out of rehab working out before you broke your ankle? i use old pics of myself to get me pumped goin bak to the gym and get in even better shape than before, and i spend a lot of my money on a healthy diet

i can help you with a meal plan but i cant make a workout plan for you, idk which exercises u will respond to , everyone has their own workout plan from goin to the gym frequently and seein what feels best to them, just get back in the gym and you can do your own work out plan that works best for you

Welcome! The road to recovery still has its ups and down but it spuds like you're threw the hard spot. Head to the nutrition section and post up some questions and your goals. You should get some help fairly fast.

    Good luck!
