Day 1 update:
My diet was on point with the exception of a SF Monster pre-wo, which really wasn't too bad for my macros.
My energy level was down a bit due to only consuming 100 carbs, less than half of what I typically consume and this is where the Monster came in. I was also very hungry throughout the day, but this was to be expected.
My workout was suprisingly great. After a weekend of wayy too much Guiness, Bailey's, Jameson, and green Labatt's coupled with cutting my carbs drastically I expected to suffer in the gym. However, my mental focus and strength were on point.

Day #2
Diet was on point except for some choc popcorn I caved on. This put my carbs out of whack by about 20, after I docked my pre-wo rice.
My weight is down 2 lbs, most likely attributed to water. My face looks slimmer and my energy level was below average thanks to low carbs as well. As a result I supplemented 200mg caffeine anhydrous, split in to 2 doses.
The gym went great again. My energy was good after the caffeine and my strength was on par, but I seemed to tire easier. On a positive note, my veins popped even more than normal.

Day #3 update (delayed)
Diet was on par yesterday. I subbed casein pudding for my tuna meal, great decision and still nailed my macros.
Scheduled off-day so no gym for this guy
Energy levels were good and if being dragged around the mall is considered cardio, chaulk me down for 60+ min.
The no-carb fun starts today.

Sub'd only for smart-ass comments!!
What is this casein pudding? Homemade, or...?
-

I'll hold ya to that
Homemade. This particular pudding had 1.5 scoops casein, 1 Tbsp natty PB, sf Almond milk, and a splash of sf Italian Sweet Cream coffee creamer. Depending on my goals/macro allowance I also sometimes add in WG oats, egg whites, cott cheese, cocao powder, coffee, crushed almonds, whey, cinnamon, or whatever else is healthy and fits.
It's pretty tasty and versatile. Lately I've been adding very little liquid and it comes out almost like cookie dough.

Day #4 update - First day of no carbs... ever!
Today actually went very well. Caffeine was my friend and burgers just aren't the same without buns. Aside from having no wheat for my meat, it really was a nice change. I was able to increase my chicken portions, use more olive oil, and add extra natty PB to my shakes. Win
My energy levels were better than expected and I felt lighter on my feet. The bloated feeling from eating rice wasn't missed in the least.
The gym went great. My legs still feel like jello and I almost fell walking up the stairs. Mission accomplished.
"And this concludes our broadcast day"

Official diet change:
I've given in to the fact that my morning shake is no longer suitable.
After drinking it around 8:30 I starve until almost noon. I really don't want to jeopardize lbm and it feels like my body is eating itself. Not to mention making me irritable and sick to my stomach.
Starting tomorrow I'll be eating eggs in place of the shake.

The problem with adding to my shakes is that it would make me have to cut calories later and I'm already spread thin.
My morning shake is around 350 calories, so if I chop it and eat clean I can get a pretty nice meal in there and hopefully an egg or 2 to snack on later. I don't think the calories are the problem, I think it's just that I don't have any solid food in my stomach for about 3 hrs after waking.

Day #5 update
Damn is it hard to not eat carbs! I've eaten enough chicken and broccoli to feed a family and still can not get full. It seems like I eat and 10 minutes later I'm starving. The first day wasn't soo bad, but today has been rough. At this rate, tomorrow will be hell. I've been fighting fierce carb cravings all day..
The gym went very well and even though I felt like I had no energy, my strength was actually up. My muscles seemed flat, yet very vascular and my midsection also seemed tighter. Suprisingly my weight still held at a strong 180. I was very pleased to see this after feeling soo depleted.
