    well it all depends on your goals, if your looking to drop weight, an isolate would probably be ideal, but if your trying to gain, they have mass building protein, i like carnivor. but as far as brand, everyone is going to be different, a lot of people like optimum nutrition, thats what i use for cutting, its pretty lean and tastes great. but really your just going to have to try different kinds and choose for yourself. just look at the nutrition and ingredients and choose based on your goals.

    None. Just eat real food. I can't stand powders anymore.

    I use optimum nutrition The extreme chocolate taste really good. But as austinite correctly points out, it is not the preferred main source of protein.

    gold standard whey is my choice but it's all upto you.

    i only use shakes after training, as easy to take in my gym bag, i usually go for the diet shakes with cla ,green tea etc added.
