have any of you guys know any good recipes for savoury oats?
Im to stay away from sugar and sweeteners, so Im looking for good ways to eat oats in a savoury style. The best I've come up with so far is to add a powder cup a soup to my oats, add hot water then bang it in the microwave for a few mins. (not bad)
Im thinking adding smoky bacon would be nice, bacon makes everything nice lol, so im gonna play around with this idea.
Anyway if you guys have any good tried and tested savoury oat recipes, it would be appreciated if you would share.
Thanks

Bacon would defeat the idea of eating oats in the first place, just MO.

Cinnamon and almonds or 1/2 banana. I also like blackberries, strawberries, blueberries, ect but they do have sugar so I only use these during mass building.Throw it in your shake and have it that way.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
Im limiting my sugar intake to keep my blood sugar level, some of the sweeteners out there are just as bad as sugar.
Any of you guys used weightwatchers jam? (jelly to you guys in the states)
The Scottish eat porridge oats with just salt and water, but that don't take my fancy. Im sure there is tasty ways to eat oats savoury out there somewhere.

I forgot eggs and oats.
1 whole egg, 2 whites, 1/2 cup oats, splash of milk. Mix. Fry like a giant pancake (it'll fall apart when you try to flip it, but no big deal). Savoury, add veggies, meat, cayenne, hot sauce, moroccan spice blend, whatever. Sweet: cinnamon and stevia, banana, apple, whatever. Goes good with whatever you want in it.

PWO - 2 scoops protein, oats...
If I'm on the run... Protein/oats/egg whites!
Perfect for me. Shake it up good and the oats soften up nice.
