fasting can be a very effective tool at reducing bf as well as maintaining low bf.. u ought to look into it.. i do whats called ADF (alternate day fasting) and love the freedom it affords! if u check out the thread GB started about IIFYM (search it) i go into detail in there about what fasting has enabled me to do with my carbs especially.. in short i can eat a good bit of sugar and bread without gaining bf%

What do you want me to say? I guess stay overweight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I continue to fail! I get about 2 good dys in and then I am driven to give into temptation! I guess its easy to sit back and say I simply dont want it bad enough...I personally dont agree! I just cant seem to beat the habit, feel like an addict!

Bro, I've been there... plenty of times. There are times I have the fire, and times I feel completely lost and out of control. My company bought us pizza for lunch once and I sat there watching (and smelling) everyone around me eating pizza... and I didn't have a single bite. THAT'S being sharp. Conversely, there have been times where I've run to the vending machine for another pack of M&M's. So believe me, I get it.
What are the temptations? Shit sitting around the house, or are you going out of your way to exercise this behavior?

Needless to say this is the first issue you need to address. For the most part, even when I'm being bad it's really just with stuff that 'crosses my path'. I'm no psychologist obviously, but IMO there's no magical solution... YOU are responsible for your actions, and you're the only person in this universe who can stop it. It's a choice you make, every single time.
Bro, I'm on day 5 of my cut after 'bulking' for almost a year, and basically binging for the past few months, so I'm telling myself this as much as I am you.
There's no way to be disciplined other than to make a commitment to yourself and see it through. Have some pride, know you can do it.
What's worked for me in the past and what I'm currently doing is very small goals. i.e. when I started the cut on Monday, I just wanted 1 perfect day. 24 hours of absolutely no cheating, not one morsel going in my mouth that wasn't planned. I succeeded. Next goal - 1 week. I'm nearly 5 days in and still going strong. After that, it'll be 2 weeks. When I can get through a full month, i'll probably start implementing 1 cheat meal/week... a little break. Even then, i'll try to keep it 'clean' so as to avoid sinking right back into bad habits (i.e. binging with shit foods).

Lunk. How are you going to attack this week?

The bottom line is u dont want it enuff. Ur married and ur wife is fine with how u look, right? so wtf?? No incentive..
Sounds like part of ur problem is u dont pack ur days food from home. If u did i think itd make it easier not to stop at subway. Or are u stopping there even though u have ur lunch on the seat next to u?
U need to tuffen up mister! If u could make it for a month (long rnuff to see some results) u would probably get hooked!

It's not a timing issue! I am able to stop home most days and make whatever. It's a craving issue...I can be on my way home to prepare something healthy for lunch and find myself choosing something bad instead. Like a said about a drug addict..I find ways of justifying it at the time and then hate myself for it afterwords!

LOL.. Poor fella.. U can do it man! Ur not a slave! Heres an idea: bring 2 pounds chicken breast and 16oz broccoli with u every day for a month, every time u get the slightest hint of hunger and craving eat a whole pound of chicken and 8oz broccoli. I guarantee u, u wont still be hungry when ur done and u can then just subtract that amount of cals and macros from ur daily total.
If u arent willing to resort to this type of tactic and post up some bull crap excuse why u cant do this (which is any excuse i might add!) ill have my answer..
