It was suggested I be taking in 2-3 gallons on workout days. Seems high. Hydration calculator suggests around 100 oz on workout days /72 non workout days.

I just go for 2 gallons of liquid, 3 seems excessive imo. Even 2 is more than most bodybuilders that i hear about, but i drink a ton of diet soda and tea, so only about 1.5 gallons of what i drink a day is water.
I just drink the same amount of water no matter the day, although i suppose i probably drink more on workout days because i stop at the water fountain between every set. Once your body is used to drinking that much water a day it expects it, and drinking anything less than ~1.5 gallons is weird for me.
I was unaware it differed from workout to non workout.. I drink 5 litres a day regardless of training or not. Will like to see the answer to this
Also, at 2 gallons I already feel like i have the bladder control of a 90 year old man, with 3 gallons a day you would basically live in the bathroom.
2-3 gallons a day for a female is insane imo.
I drink 1.5-2 gallons and couldn't imagine a girl thats's half the size would need more than that.
I drink one gallon of water. I also drink another gallon+ of fluids in addition.
Thx fellas. I thought it a bit high for me also not was I successful. 1 gal seems to be about my max.
