Help with cutting please
So here it's, I started working out continuously slightly over 2years ago my stats where..
19 1/2 years old
5'11
150lbs
Bf%guessing 12% very little muscle..
Ive learned a lot the hard say I have been bulking continuously for 2years now at times got held back or slowed down due too life..I have learned Afew thangs about bulking..my current stats are..
Age 21 1/2
5'11
202lbs
Bf% around 16%
The truth is I really never wonted too be under 200 agian I wonted too do a test only cycle before summer and do a lean bulk..still may after I attempt too cut..I'm really afraid too cut honestly because I've seen alot of guys "cut" and just make a smaller version of what they where before not any less cut..I don't know how my body is going too respond too cutting because I never attempted before..obvousily my goal is too hold as much muscle and weight as possible while loosing a little fat..also my abbs are slightly visible I really won't too improve them and take my waist size don't slightly,, I realize when you cut you loose everywhere..but Im not going too go extreme with it just kinda tip toe into it..and see what happens..if I start loosing much weight at all I will up my calls and carbs..this is my routine the past 2weeks...I know it's perty general but just a quick overview..
8am. Bowl of oatmeal, glass of apple juice, protien shake with fat reduced milk 40gms protien
10am.protien shake,yogurt
12pm.stir fry in olive oil cup of chicken and onions and baked potatoe
2pm.Protien shake
5pm.3eggs, stir fried in olive oil cup of sirloin steake, salad,,with several ounces of turkey deli meat
9pm.cuP of chicken stir tryed in olive oil onions brocli..baked potatoe..creatine 10grams..
1030pm protien shake..
I workout 5 days aweek..After 5pm..
Okay I've said all this for y'all too review..but my real question is after workouts I have been running 12-15 mins,,I realize it's 75% diet..and genetics play a huge role, but it seems too be slip on whether or not cardio should even be used at all in cutting..seems like the onlythangs that matters is intensity and amount of time..should I even do that much cardio at this point???

Before anything congrats on the dedication and gains.
1. It's very hard to get a good gauge on ur diet cause it doesn't include macros. But it seems as if u may be under eating. Do u know you're macros exactly?
2. Most people lose a little muscle during cutting simply because of restricted calories. But I wouldn't decide not to cut simply because u saw other people become smaller versions of themselves. If you have a good diet and routine there should be significant differences. Again having a solid diet is key here.
3. Cardio for me is very important. If your going to cut you might as well do it right and not half ass it by leaving out cardio. I do cardio atleast 4x a week, but usually 5x. Split up between hiit, regular pace, and riding my bike. All fasted in am.
4. It looks like you're getting most you're protein from shakes. I personally like to only have 2 a day and get rest of protein from meals.

Thanks for the reply/help..kinda surprised you suggested under eating..the heaviest ive ever weighed was 205lbs like amonth ago,, I just now started this routine 2weeks ago and holding at between 200-203lbs..I'm just really paranoid about cutting in general I gues I just have small man complex lol..I really never Wont too be under 200 but I know I'll have too too make any real difference in bf%ive never really strived too be extremly cut anyways my ultimate goal is 225lbs around 12-14%bf I've got along ways too go...but anyways it just seems that everyone is so decided on cardio, especially when it comes too running..but cardio is cardio correct? Main objective would be too get the heart rate up for a sustained amount of time..?

The scale is a good gauge but by no means should u live by the numbers on it. Check you're bf and focus on that and what u look like in the mirror. I've been cutting for a while now after coming off a 1yr stint on my couch. I haven't been under 200lbs since 11th grade and always lived by never goin under it again. But I'm now shooting for 190 cause I know ill look sick as hell at that weight. Then I can lean bulk back and gain.
Try to figure you're macros out so we can give u a better assessment of it.
And yes get on that cardio. 45 mins 4-5x/wk. do research on hiit cardio. And try that a few times a week
