At this point, I'm running on a thousand calorie a day deficit and bouncing between 40/40/20 and 50/30/20 macro splits. I've been dropping body fat with it but I'm wondering how long I should stick with such a large deficit. I have no problem with that level of restriction but I do wonder how much more I'll get out of it before homeostasis kicks in. Should I cycle between various levels of caloric restriction? Should I bump up to a five hundred calorie a day deficit? I plan on dieting hard for another three months and then doing a month at maintenance levels.
Thoughts?
