Macro split completely depends on two things:
1. Metabolic response,
2. Goal.
If your metabolic response to carbs in general are unfavorable, meaning you have high CHO sensitivity, and if your goal is to dry up and get ripped, you will be obviously better off with a low-carb and high-fat split where protein consumption remains the same.
Prototypical staples of nutrition are fading. CHO management has a lot to do with this IMO. You will see more people who are dedicated to lifting and nutrition that they will change up their macro splits and even daily caloric intakes depending whether it is a training or non-training day.
Ok thanks
So how long do u use a split before u change?
Like I have been using a low carb for about 2 months should I try lower fat now or wait
Have u googled "carb cycle" OP? I think this is what turkish is referring to. Carbs are used primarily to fuel workouts. If ur not training (lifting) the thought is carbs or an abundance thereof are unnecessary.
Take me for example: on days i train i eat 350-500g carbs
On days i dont train i eat 50-100g usually in the form of raw veggies.
P.S. id also like to note carbs also have a role in recovery. For all u guys who want to argue semantics.![]()

Low carb diet contain low calories and hence very helpful for weight loss. They prevent your body from loosing body mass.On the other side high carbohydrate diet can results in weight gain but it has more nutrition than low carb diet.
