So after looking at the glycemic index of lactose it lead me to the insulin index. Previously I thought glycemic index and insulin had a direct correlation. Turns out that that's not always the case. It looks like the compilation of different foods is slim because I'm not finding an extensive chart like with the glycemic index. But something id like to point out is BEEF has a GLUCOSE score of 21, which is On the low end of the scale, but has an INSULIN score of 51, which is just below an apple. Here's a link to take a peek at. I'd like to hear ppls thoughts, and maybe people have things to add on this.
