It is true that some micro nutrients will not survive the heat in nuts such as almonds; however, this doesn't mean that heating almonds actually turns them into near dead food regarding its nutritional value.
I always shop for raw nuts. My philosophy is ''that's how we harvest them and that's how they must be consumed.''
^ I agree. Cooking a food item doesn't render it inert.
Can you imagine if we had to eat all our meat raw?
I love roasted almonds! :)

No worries bro. Being political correct sometimes is warranted - particularly when extending respect to other members.
But you wont see me changing like some guys who pretend to be someone other than themselves regardless of my length of time here, number of posts, or color. ;)
My goal is to be fair, firm, and consistent. Occasionally i may get side tracked, but for the most part, im straight forward. But i get your point and think it's funny too..lol
