    New Member Few Questions

Hey guys im currently 8 months into to much MUCH more healthy life style, And im wondering if there is anything i can take above and beyond the over the counter suppliments i have been taking. I was 417 lbs 8 months ago and thru diet and exercise i have droped down to 325 and am now looking to drop the rest of my fat and start to build some nice muscle. Im currently taking c4 pre workout and GNC multivit packs with whey iso inbetween meals. This has worked well for the last 8 months but i find im starting to slow way down on the fat im losing and was wondering if there is anything else i can do to help me get to my ideal weight. I have done a little reading and it seems clen is a route i can go but ive read you cant really work out for long times when taking it. So my question is " What else can i do/take to help me a long my poath or maybe even speed me up?"

    5' 7"
    325lbs
    BMI 50.9

Currently on 90 mins of bike cardio followed by 60 mins of heavy/speedbag cardio. Then 45 mins of Strength training mon-fri, Then 120 mins of eliptical cardio sat-sun.

Any advice or input would be nice!

    Thanks,
    Jay

Welcome, and congrats on your weight loss Fury.

Whatever you're doing seems to be working. This goes back to the old saying... "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

You could probably consider adding Green Tea to your daily liquid intake (which I hope is water only). I'm doing some experimental use of Coleus forskohlii to see if it's what it's cracked up to be.

im def over 40 percent BF obese for sure. taking c4 preworkout and 3 60g whey iso shakes a day and GNCs amp ripped vitapak program which contains 2x megamen sport multi vits per day 4 grams CLA Thermo igniter 12x taken before workout with c4 and waterx.

My diet pretty much just consists of carb breakfast light greens lunch and light carb/heavy protein dinner. Also due to my work i have to workout at night so i save the majority of my carbs for before my workout. But i do not eat fast food period i buy all fresh items everyday and cook try to eat only 1500-2000 total calories in a day as well.

Any thing else you need to know let me know. I can post shots of me and also shots of the gym im currently building

    Thanks,
    Jay

EDIT: And yes i drink water LOTS AND LOTS of water. and maybe one or 2 hot teas thru the day with 0 sweetener or other things added to it

At roughly 40% bodyfat, there's nothing else you need to do/worry about other than to continue working hard in the gym/cardio and nutrition. If things are slowing down, it's time to look at what you've been doing and make some tweaks. What was working for X amount of time won't work forever; i.e. as body composition changes, so must the training - progressive approach.

I suggest you post up a typical day's diet and weekly training routine. We'll have a look and see if we can get you moving again.

    Diet for 4/15/2013

8 am breakfast 3 eggwhites 1/2 cup of granola 15 raisins
10am iso whey shake with 2x unsalted rice crackers
1230 Lunch 4 oz plain Chicken breast sliced and served over spring greens with a hardboiled egg 1/3 oz shredded cheddar cheese and no dressing
230 pm Cliff builders bar and another iso whey shake
6pm dinner 3 oz white rice 8 oz salmon fillet with 2 tbsp olive oil and seasonings steamed summer squash and green beans

Im now going to go workout for a few hours which i listed in my original post my workout regiment after im done ill have a iso whey shake and that will end my eating for today. Ill be in bed by 2 am and rewake at 8am. What i ate today is a very common day for me and most meals follow close to the same types and amounts of food. i cook everything myself. I am pretty lucky where i can designate more time to my cooking AND workouts so let me know what else i can do.

    Thanks,
    Jay

PS: what do you guys think about me trying a session of Clen ? It seems like it may be something that can help me.

I'll be blunt with you here....

At 40% body fat you don't need any supplements to loose weight.... So don't be looking for a short cut

You need to learn to control what your eating.... It's as simple as that....

Have you looked into a PSMF diet.... If not look it up, or read lyle McDonald's RFL book....

Protein Sparing Modified Fast (psmf) diets are hard to stick to so I would suggest you have a re-feed day every week or so... But at over 40% bodyfat I think you need to be more concerned about death than what tastes nice and if you feel crappy on a diet..... Just being straight up with you....
    Don't be a 'Bro'..... Believe nothing....Question everything

Stop over thinking nutrition - If you want something to think about download Myfitnesspal and learn how to count macros

Well someone clearly didnt read my post. BEcause if you did you would realize im not starting a diet im on one and its been working. I was simply asking if i could add anything to what i am currently doing. Please do me a favor and re read my post since either A you did not read it or B you read 40 percent body fat and responded blind. I was simply asking about Clen and if i should add it. The remarks you made were not only not called for but were not even relevant to what i am asking. Stop reading only part of a post and assuming the rest please. Just being straight up with you.

    Thanks,
    Jay

Jay, Base is a well respected knowledgeable member (not to mention staff) here, he's only trying to help, not insult you. No need to be so defensive; if you had any idea of the number of posts we see in a day similar to yours, you might drop.

Whether he misinterpreted your post and/or read through the entire thing or not is a moot point; his (and my) advice stands:

I highly doubt we're both that far off the mark...

Hi Jay. I asked about clen when I first joined too and got a similar response. They just know that clen is for the last 5 lbs. .

I have done a cycle of clen. It's nasty side effects. There are other things that you can do when the time is right. Cardio is your new best friend. Lol.

Clen has some serious cardiovascular risks to.name a few and should only be used for individuals looking to be stage ready imo...

I did actually read your post but the way I worded my reply maybe came across wrong. I did not mean to offend you if I did

I can see that your on a diet and making loads of progress.... If you ever run a PSMF you will maybe re-read my post and get it....

Running a PSMF at your bodyfat is probably the quickest way to loose weight but it sucks like hell.... My point was tho that it sucks really bad but a heart attack, stroke or death probably suck a lot more....

When you run a PSMF diet you will be craving everything so badly it's unreal... For someone at 15% bodyfat it's easy to crack because at the end of the day 'oh well' it's just a slip up and being 15% bodyfat is fine (healthy).... But for you at 40% bodyfat you want to drop that weight as quickly as possible, lean body mass, who cares, your at a health risk....

If we could talk face to face, I assure you that I could re-read my original post to you and it would not offend you.... But on the Internet people read things as they want to read them, which in some cases isn't the way they were meant to be written

I don't like clen ... At least when running it at even moderate dosages.... I just feel like a heart attack waiting to happen all the time... That feeling when your stomach falls when you 'worry' about something.... I feel on edge with it... Not a nice drug

I agree. I just dont understand ppl sometimes. You should be able to get to 10% by yourself with diet training and cardio. For some of us thats easy for some they really gotta work hard at it.
Reason I say this is cause you wont keep the fat off if your dont know how to eat train cardio. Example: So I take test tren primo var and mast and make it from 15-8% would be incredible, but I would put the weight /fat right back on post cycle
