    Hey guys,

So during my workout I take 2 scoops of whey protein to help me going and then I eat an orange after I get back, will that work?

I dont see the problem in taking the protein while working out but i rather see you take it post along with some carbs, carbs post workout help in the delivery of the protein to the muscle faster. Whats the orange for?

Depends on your overall diet tbh. One single meal doesn't dictate what 'works' or doesn't.

Personally, I'd be eating more than a single orange PWO. My PWO meal usually consisted of 1/2 cup oats and a piece of fruit - usually a banana or apple.

What are your goals? Something like a banana will be quicker on the glycemic index to spike your insulin

It's good to have some simple sugars along with some protein (whey is good due to its fast absorption) the simple sugar will spike your insulin , the insulin spike will drive nutrients into your depleted muscles. I like to have cereal with milk. Pw is the perfect time/excuse to have a sweet treat.
