About to start 500 mg/wk Test E Cycle, NEED NUTRITIONAL ADVICE

Here is my current pre-cycle diet that I have been on for 4 weeks now to drop BF %. And it has been working, but I need to know what to add when I start the cycle. My goals are to increase lean muscle mass (not trying to get "jacked") and keep losing bf. I am currently between 15-18% bf, not sure I need to get it checked again.

Breakfast: Nutrient Essentials shake with skim milk

Lunch: subway sandwich or similar with wheat

pre-workout: caffeine free NO shake with creatine, can't remember the actual brand name

post-workou: 2 scoop protein shake with water

dinner: vegetables and fruit, with chicken or tuna

I never eat carbs after 3 and only eat complex carbs.

    My stats are:
    26 yrs old
    205 lbs
    5'8"
    15-18% bf

Whats up with this ? What you have posted is just some random food, no total macros, no real information...

You need to be a little more specific if you want to get some replies. Looking at that sample daily plan of what you eat, your diet needs a lot of work. You wont be putting on any LBM eating like that

To do a correct diet bro we need the total calories you plan on eating and a breakdown of protein/carbs/fats.
We do not just wing this stuff.

Get the diet worked out and then we can.go.from there. Read the lean bulk sticky also

Ill be brutally honest, we don't need to know macros of that diet cause it looks horrible. That diet serves for neither bulking, cutting, maintaining, on or off cycle.

Hold off on the sauce and read the stickie for lean bulk then read it again a few times until its committed to memory but more important understand what lean bulking and how it all works

Ok let me try a different angle, I read the UNofficial "how to cut" thread. Is that a sufficient meal plan for someone on a cutting cycle.

Also I'm debating two different cycles, one is a 500mg/wk test e cycle, or a 250 mg/wk test e 250 mg/wk masteron cycle. Any experience with these? Which would you recommend for a recomp cycle??

Above guys have some good points. Sounds like you could do very well with just improving your nutrition and getting your training on point. To me, doing aas for any reason other than to gain muscle isn't necessary. Visit the lounge and read the "Marcus's Diary" thread and it will give you some good ideas on training to really make some improvements.

Sounds good will do. As for the aas... I already have them and I CAN wait to do them at the right time and WANT to do them at the right time and properly. Should I wait till after summer and just cut all summer and use them this fall for a bulk cycle??? Or would I be better off doing a bulk cycle now to get my muscle size up and cut after the cycle. I know I don't have enough time to get right for this summer, but a "beach body" is the ultimate goal

The how to cut sticky has alot of good info on cutting. You need to tweak it to personalize it to you're stats, body type, metabolism ect.

But you should practice these diets and milk some natural gains before hoping on the sauce. Your diet now is not the cutting diet.

I say u should practice it for two reasons

    1. U may not be able to stick w a real diet for extended period of time. Proving u shouldn't cycle

    2. U still probably have natural gains u can attain before cycling.

I would hold off if I were u. Cut down to 10% and then if u still want to then cycle.

I don't understand what is SOOO horrible about my diet, and I have been on it consistently for 4 weeks now and it IS working, so I can follow a strict diet. But back to the diet, it has protein, complex carbs, and fats.

Not saying it's so horrible but most people can still use some help with nutrition. Little tweaks can really make a big visual difference. Look at pro bodybuilders who are bulked up and very large, yet diet down for a contest, lose 30-40 lbs but look bigger!

Hi! I think u just need a few tweaks like Kel indicated.

Try replacing the breakfast shake with egg whites and oatmeal.

The subway sandwich is better then other fast foods but I think the bread is not nutritionally beneficial as sweet potatoes or rice and lunch meat is full of sodium. Choose a lean protein instead.

that makes sense, everything im reading shows that I need to increase the breakfast. And when I say "subway sandwich" that doesn't necessarily mean from subway just that type of whole wheat bread and lean protein sandwich. I usually eat lunch at newks.
