Never heard of paleo bread, but have you ever heard of eziekel bread? It's a wheat less bread super low glycemic index

Well, your fat is from the almonds so its good fat. Low carbs and high protein per slice. Does it look like and have the same texture as bread?

I haven't tried it yet, I was referring to the nutritional data. But it's on my next grocery list and I will report back!

Ouch! Make your own buddy. Look more like cake than bread though. Much like my home made gluten free bread.

I make mine with rice flour but am definitely add some ground almonds next time. There is yeast in mine too so it's not paleo as yours is though.

That was the first and only loaf I made. I made it last week, I plan on another attempt tomorrow with quite a change of recipe. As long as you don't expect a bread like texture or taste, it's more of a crumbly vale texture (so far anyway). Good toasted though.

I'll put the basic recipe up in the recipe section soon, it consists of rice flour, salt, xanthum gum, yeast, sugar and water. I'll be trying a slightly different flour and ground almonds and maybe some egg white. Most gluten free homemade bread calls for milk instead of water but I'm gonna try and make it work well with water. I haven't seen coconut flour over here, I'm not sure how different it could be to rice flour.

lmao. Well then your picture is an optical illusion! That light wood looked like an "Island" chopping block in the middle of a wood floor room.

Austin this is for you. Today's brown gluten free loaf atop a wooden chopping board, atop a wood effect kitchen work top and you can also see my hardwood floor

BTW, this 'bread' is much better than the white version

Do you know what the fat, protein, and fiber is per slice or loaf?

Per loaf is 2100 cals 350g carbs, 43g pro, 60g fat

The loaf weighs approx 750g. I know you guys don't work in grams so an approximation of 4oz would be 50g carbs, 6g pro, 8.5g fat.

Fat is high in view of the recommended oil content I put in, next time I will be trying less. I also used skim milk instead of water which helps with the protein content, next time I need to sub in some ground almonds for some of the flour and drop some oil. It'll be several weeks before I get it dead right.

geeze we had bought some of the almond and I think eating cardboard would of been tastier. The stuff is god awful and warning you need lots of water to down a slice so you don't choke.
