Only thing I see it has a little fat in it but more fiber and protein compared to Ezekiel..
It keeps pooping up on my Facebook, ill buy and let you know
Well, your fat is from the almonds so its good fat. Low carbs and high protein per slice. Does it look like and have the same texture as bread?Originally Posted by FONZY007

Yea was thinking about making also
Thanks guys
Is there a recipe....Originally Posted by Back In Black
That was the first and only loaf I made. I made it last week, I plan on another attempt tomorrow with quite a change of recipe. As long as you don't expect a bread like texture or taste, it's more of a crumbly vale texture (so far anyway). Good toasted though.Originally Posted by GirlyGymRat
I'll put the basic recipe up in the recipe section soon, it consists of rice flour, salt, xanthum gum, yeast, sugar and water. I'll be trying a slightly different flour and ground almonds and maybe some egg white. Most gluten free homemade bread calls for milk instead of water but I'm gonna try and make it work well with water. I haven't seen coconut flour over here, I'm not sure how different it could be to rice flour.

Do you know what the fat, protein, and fiber is per slice or loaf?Originally Posted by Back In Black
Per loaf is 2100 cals 350g carbs, 43g pro, 60g fatOriginally Posted by FONZY007
The loaf weighs approx 750g. I know you guys don't work in grams so an approximation of 4oz would be 50g carbs, 6g pro, 8.5g fat.
Fat is high in view of the recommended oil content I put in, next time I will be trying less. I also used skim milk instead of water which helps with the protein content, next time I need to sub in some ground almonds for some of the flour and drop some oil. It'll be several weeks before I get it dead right.

Just purchased the paleo bread.. Almond and coconut..
I'm being told its still better than eseikel breadOriginally Posted by etownfit
geeze we had bought some of the almond and I think eating cardboard would of been tastier. The stuff is god awful and warning you need lots of water to down a slice so you don't choke.
So it's not better the eseikel bread, I got the coconut which looks more moist looking through the packageOriginally Posted by chi
Thanks lolOriginally Posted by chi
Oh yuck the almond just takes nasty, even with mustard, ham and cheese...
