    Protein Pancakes VS Protein Shake

Are protein pancakes better then protein shakes for you? Or do you just do the shake PWO because its quicker?

I have started getting into protein pancakes and make some good ones and was wondering when do people usually included them in their day. Obviously doesnt have to be for breakfast but when??

Pretty sure 405's pancakes is Slimmerme's recipe, I could be wrong though. Either way, my pancake recipe pisses on both of them.

    Mine are:

    One scoop of Myofusion
    1/2 cup egg whites
    1 whole egg

I mean if I was going to choose pancakes or a shake I'm thinking I should choose pancakes.

    But seriously:

8 oz eggs. whites, yolks, whatever.
    8 oz oatmeal
    Banana
    Protein powder

blend, chill it to thicken and fire away. Good stuff. My 10 yr old likes them.

    Mine:

    Dry Ingredients
    1/2 cup oats
    1/2 tsp baking powder
2-4 packets stevia (depends on how sweet you like it)
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder (Myofusion works well)

    Wet Ingredients
    1/2 cup liquid egg whites
1/2 cup cottage cheese (I use 1/% milkfat, no salt added variety)
    1/2 - 1 cup fresh blueberries

Add dry ingredients to a blender and pulse until incorporated and powdery

Add wet ingredients and blend until smooth.

Heat up a pan (low-medium heat - these can burn easily) and make either 1 huge pancake, or several smaller ones. Top with sugar-free syrup and/or fresh blueberries/bananas and enjoy!

Definitely!! Salt is a 'secret' ingredient in a lot of foods, including most sweet baked goods. Used to bring out other flavors, not to make the overall flavor salty.

If the salt worries you, go with a 1/4 tsp to start, or omit it all together. It won't make or break the recipe.
