Pre-workout: Shake or Pills? What's your preference?

I'm curious to know what your preference would be. If you had an opportunity to take the perfect pre-workout supplement. Would you rather take 7 pills? Or would you rather take 1 flavored scoop that you can mix into a shake?

Are we assuming that the overall effect is the same? I'd prefer a quick drink if it gave the sane results as the pill.

Yes, identical effects. But a powder you have to mix, not a ready-to-drink beverage.

I might lean towards the pills but not sure. What I don't like is the bloated feeling I get sometimes from drinking several ounces just before going to lift. Good thing is that it usually passes in half an hour or so. Also looking for a good pre workout powder that will actually DISSOLVE in water before I drink it. lol. Maybe the stuff I have is just old tech...

In that case, I would prefer the pill version. No preparation required. You could keep them in your car or gym bag and just pop them when needed.

I eat so few things that truly taste good that the protein drinks I take don't taste too bad. I kind of like'm now that I think of it. I mean if you ate crackers for a long time and the crackers were substituted with a pill that contains the same nutrition you might miss the taste of crackers.

Personally..... I LOVE " nano vapor" by muscletech. 8g l-citruline malate, 3.2g beta-alanine, 2.5g betaine, 200mg quercetin, 5g creatine, and no sugar. No long extended stimulants which is good for me cause I work out at night. And it actually tastes good. Kicks in in about 25 min or less. Just my .02

Those doses really should be re-evaluated. Sometimes more isnt really better. This will produce a great pump but could be counter productive in other internal areas.

edit: I just looked, I dont see those doses in that compound. Unless you're taking 3 to 4 scoops.

I take 2 scoops per 8oz h2o. Started it this week due to prepping to cut. The doses may be stretched as everything now a day is. But it works great for me. But then this is a woman's pov ;-)

Does it make me weird if I like the protein shakes? My wife and son don't care much for them but I look forward to them.
