Thread: Macro Split?

    Macro Split?

Was wondering what a good macro split would be for bulking( gaining strength and size ).
So fare I have seen the 40% of carbs, 40% of protein, 20% of fat.
Do you think this would be good for gaining strength and size?

Assuming calories are sufficient to facilitate building tissue, the split is fine. Personally I like carbs a little higher (40/45/15) but it prob won't make a huge difference. You could prob get away with lowering protein to 35% of total calories and adding more carbs and/or fats, depending on how high your overall calories need to be.

Calories need to be 4000 and do you think this is around the best for gaining strength and size or have you herd of one that is better

Sorry guys, been on vacation and only accessing the board here and there via my phone. I'll be back Tuesday and we can continue then.

Rip - I'll address your question in my Ask GB thread. Haven't even checked the sticky's tbh.
