    Cooking Halibut

Cooking some fish for my mom as a belated mother's day gift. Second time in my life cooking fish due to being allergic and unable to eat it without dying haha. Anyways, I picked Halibut since it was her favorite. I was going to bake it in the oven but was unsure at which temperature and for how long. Also, I was going to make a lemon dill cream sauce in the pan and add it over top afterwards.

why would you ruin some tasty halibut by cooking it?

Notwithstanding Jimmy's link above you need more information.

Standard baking for fish is 350F for 10-12 minutes per inch of fish. 25 minutes as this recipe calls for will totally ruin a one inch thick fillet.
