    Juicing As Part of Diet?

Just watched the Fat, Sick & Nearly dead documentary last night and it really opened my eyes to the insufficient amount of fruits and vegetables I eat.

Has anyone on here implemented juicing into their daily intake? If so, how did that go for you? I am not going on a pure juicing diet due to lifting, but I would love to implement a few juices a day into my diet.

    Anyone done this?

I know GB touched on it and I plan to start juicing soon as well. I don't eat enough green veggies so I will be searching for a good recipe

I use a vitamix blender that way you get all the fiber. I put kale, spinach, parsley and other greens along with fruit and protein powder

I use a nutri bullet instead of a juicer. You're not getting any fiber by juicing, but to each their own.

I tried it before. Not a big fan. You are losing the natural fiber that comes with it, with more of a concentration of vegetable sugars per gram than the whole veggie. Instead, what we've been doing is puree'ing the vegetable, and then adding a tiny amount of water to make it drinkable. Mostly I gulp it down in a few seconds to get it over with. But infinitely preferable than a rendered down juice

If u want more fruit then eat more fruit..... Blending it into a shake is good.... And berries are generally lower calorie and probably better for you as afar as vitamins and antioxidants etc...

Like 5 mins to eat a bowl of chicken and rice?

It would take you longer to drink as you would be gagging.....

If u want a liquid meal use protein powder, oats, peanut butter, cottage cheese, Oreos... Lol whatever u want.... But man, chicken and rice shake lol!!! I've done tuna but chicken and rice is next level
