    Always Hungry !!

    I recently got done dieting for a show 2 months ago and started to increase my calories again from 2500 cals. Now i am eating at around 4200 cals a day and still feeling hungry all the time. Its really weird because I get hungry after 30 mins of eating a huge meal. Im sure my body composition has changed alot but this has been happening to me every time I increase my food. Should I do some blood work or something ? Any advise is appreciated.

    Current Diet:


    meal 1: 140 g raw oats , 150 g eggwhites, 20 g of whey

    meal 2 : 360 g cooked rice, 6 ounces chicken

    meal 3: 128 g raw grits, 2 cans of small tuna,

    meal 4: 360 g cooked rice, 5 ounces of ground beef

    PWN: 20 g of whey , 10 g bcaa

    meal 5: 140 g oats 6 ounces chicken

    meal 6: 28 g peanuts, 200 g tilapia , 2 cups of brocolli

    meal 7: 200 g egg whites , 2 whole eggs, 60 g oats

    meal 8: 30 g casein + 28 g peanuts + 1 cup of spinach

    What are ur macros on that m8.... Looks like a lot of food volume already

    Maybe just try adding greens..... Broccoli soup fills you up pretty good

    You need to consume more fiber, water and preferably some strong black coffee in between meals in order to aid this situation.

    Introducing at least one meal of read meat (not minced) to your diet will also help. As is, chicken and fish are pretty easy to digest; whereas, red meat is the hardest protein for your body to digest, thus keeping you fuller for longer periods of time.

    ThNks for all the advise Base and TJ . Macros are 320 g protein , 500 g carbs, around 90g of fats . Is there any alternative to veggies ? I usaully have 3 servings of veggies daily . I get digestive issues if i go any more with them . But i will try drinking tea or black coffee in between meals .

    I often feel the same way. I eat, get full, and 30 minutes later I'm hungry again. And I am eating 40-50 grams of fiber a day. Lots of greens too. I wonder if it has something to do with the amount of fat? I'm on a 40/40/20 diet right now.

    after i ran a hard cut from nov-feb i was the same way, it took me a couple months for my hunger to subside, it was almost as if the hunger effect was cumulative. i also eat 1 pound beef every day..

    TJ I usually have red meat. I always alternate between eye of round steak and lean ground beef. Do you prefer having more than one meal of red meat a day ? If so I will cut the ground beef and just go with normal eye of round steak twice daily. P.S I am natural and did not use any T3 or any stimulants to cut down for my last show. Weight is : 215 lb at 11 %

    Welcome back 405 and thanks jumping in. I will probably increase calories to 4800 these next few days by adding 1 more steak meal. Im just going to listen to my body and monitor fat gain. After seeing that this is common to alot of guys after a hard cut i feel better. I thought I had a tape worm or something :S
