LOL.. i have heard the expression too but it is incorrect. what it may be describing is "re-comping" where u lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. fat does not turn into muscle.. it gets burned off and muscle can be increased due to lifting weights and excess calories (typically).

u may think u dont need to read about bulking right now but i say u should as itll give u more of a complete understanding of diet vs just reading the cutting sticky. from ur posts above u have a good bit to learn. u have come to the right place! welcome!
