    Macro foods

hey guys been reading a heap of the posts on here and have learnt more about macros, have seen templates for fat cutting diets and the percentages of proteins/carbs/fats, however im not too sure how to tell how much is in certain things is there a list or something you can go by? once i have figured this out i will write up my diet and get some of the more experienced people on here to help me out and possibly tweak it if need be. thanks guys

You haven't read any posts recommending sites or phone applications? Personally, I use MyFitnessPal on my iPhone. It is a free app, and all you have to do is scan the barcode of the food item you are eating. You can adjust the quantity too (you can weigh your food if you want to know precisely how much you are eating). It has its own food database too if you don't happen to have the barcode. Beware that some of those items may be different than what you are actually consuming though.
