    Nutritional information scales???

I only just heard of this today and started googling it, would love to see what people think of them. Scales where you type in what food it is eg. Eggs, then put them on the scales and it'll give you how many carbs calories fat sodium etc. sounds like a great easy way to keep things in check. Any thoughts on this?

That's impossible. Maybe in 2033. Got a link?

I don't need to see the video. Two 16oz ribeye's will weigh the same, but won't have identical macros. Good tool for estimations I guess, after all that's what we do all day.

Anyone recommend a particular one? I'd love one that adds up all your macros for the day

This was my initial idea for my final year electronics project. Of course as Austinite said, it would only be as good as the database you used, and it would only be an estimate.
My plan was to link it into the MyFitnessPal database, have a good sized LCD touch display so you could navigate menus easy and then weigh what you wanted and sync to your profile.

It's a gimmick of course. I could just scan the barcode and use traditional scales!
